Artist's CommentsROYAI SPAM, HOORAY~ Yes. Stfu; its what I do. Once again, aspects of this are only going to make sense to Hubby - like Rizas additional scars - since it was inspired by our RP. D:! Whod have guessed? *Thats a rhetorical question* I didnt want to draw Roys eye patch this time... Mainly because Im tired of seeing all the post-episode 51 pictures of Roy with a delicate little scar through his eye. So this is my way of countering all that. |: He was shot, ppl. Not scratched by a kitten. Half of his face should be gone. Ive seen people this has happened to. And its not pretty. Srsly. ...They always look so grim when I draw them. :c Oh well. I also like the arms, the connection
And the reason they made the scar at his eye in this way is because a half destroyed face is not so nice to look at in an anime, not sexy (yes I'm fangirl)

Put this in your sig if you laughed your ass off when you realized 'Yagami' spelled backwards is 'im a gay'
90% of teens would die if myspace crashed. If you'd be part of the 10% that would be rofl, paste this into your sig
Aw, thank you. :3 I'm glad people still enjoy this piece, even though I look back on it and see a lot of things I would have done differently. XD
Personally, I find the larger, more believable scar "sexier", if you will. XD If for no other reason than originality. It shows off the scope of the injury, and anything less just reminds me of Scar from The Lion King. It sort of... looses authenticity. XD
It's sort of the same reason why I've always preferred the fuller, more muscular build they draw Roy with in the manga. It's more accurate than the typical bishie-build of huge shoulders and a skinny little waist that they used in the anime. I dunno why girls these days find skinny men so desirable, but it's deffinately not how a soldier is built- and I'd know, I'm married to one. D: Then again, I'm pretty sure most of those girls have never seen how an adult male is typically built, since they call Roy's muscle in the manga "fat"... which annoys me. >_>
But now I'm just rambling. 8D

But I Meant when really half his face was gone, I agree that when you're shot with a gun you don't have a kitty scratch

Thank you! :3
I'm glad someone else can appreciate Roy's soldier-build, instead of just reacting with, "Ew, he's fat." XD

I can also see a lot of manga influences here, too. And I most certainly approve! I love the little manga touches!
The way their arms are crossed as they show off their respective scars is touching. Perhaps moreso because of the hideousness of those very scars. I like to see it when people don't try to downplay such things, and I agree about that odd trend girls seem to have nowadays.

I'm on the Autistic Spectrum and PROUD of it!
By the way, if you see a really short one-armed man, don't mock his height. Nine times out of ten, it ends up being Edward Elric. My uncle Bertie made that mistake once; now he's my aunt Bernice.
